La Limpia

La Limpia is a meditative portrait of memory, grief, and quiet healing across generations. Told through the soft grain of 16mm film and guided by a gentle omniscient voice, the film follows Sofía and her grandmother through a summer marked by revelation and ritual. In the stillness of shared silences and old cemeteries, a forgotten story surfaces.

La Limpia explores what it means to carry pain without letting it define us, and how the act of remembering can sometimes be its own kind of release.
